The World Championship for the four-in-hands in Tryon (USA) is won by team USA. In the individual ranking Chester Weber won the silver medal. Chester began the World Cup with a beautiful dressage test which was rewarded with 35.10 penalty points. Thus he stood less than four penalty points behind defending worldchampion Boyd Exell.
We finished building the site for CAI Beekbergen 2018. Everyone worked extremely hard, despite the heat. The participants arrive tomorrow and we are looking forward to this amazing event. Ton Vreugdenhil seems to reach his goal, qualifying for the national championships. After winning in Hellendoorn, he won again last weekend in Geldrop the Z-class for pairs. Chester Weber has won the international four-in-hand competition in Riesenbeck, Germany, this weekend. Weber won the dressage, performed strong in the marathon and finished the job with a clear round in the cones competition. Chester finished ahead of marathon winner IJsbrand Chardon. Benjamin Aillaud (FR) became third.
Ton Vreugdenhil traveled this weekend to Hellendoorn to compete in the Z-class with Iwan and Ivanhoe. After dressage and cones on Saturday Ton was in the lead. In the marathon (Sunday) he used the Lipizzaner Conversano XXIV, a.k.a. Conti. And our Antonio Rigamonti was his groom. Ton was farout the fastest in het marathon and won. And
