Last weekend Ton Vreugdenhil and his team were off to Chablis, France (23-27 September 2020) and now we are back with great results, lots of emotions, and ready for what’s next.

We were looking forward to this weekend after a season with little to no chance to compete.
As for a start, the dressage test went very well. It was all nice and smooth but the weather was not on our side. On Friday there was a lot of wind so the horses were not completely relaxed and during the test, the strong wind and the noises made life harder for us. This is why the walk was not perfect but we can not expect more from the horses, they behaved very well. We are really satisfied with the way Ton performed the test, as well as the performance of the horses.

Unfortunately, during the marathon test Ton had a technical issue with his carriage but thanks to his groom the problem has been resolved in no time and they were ready to keep on rolling.

And as we mentioned also before, we had no luck with the weather – the cones test has been canceled because of the heavy rain.

Overall Ton and we are very happy with the results and the performance of the horses. It was worthy to go to Chablis as a practice for Valkenswaard, we are confident to line up to the start on the 7th of October 2020.
See you there?
